Journal Entry 11--Characters: October 1, 2008--Journal Entry 11
My world to theirs; my thoughts to theirs. My talents and opinions, weaknesses and struggles to theirs. That's pretty much what happens when I'm writing. I always feel as if I've become my character, but like in a dream. I am them in every way, but like a dream. I hover, in a sense, over myself, watching from above and adding insight here and there as it's needed. I saw him fall.
Shouldn't I have acted, Should I have reacted. I should have done, I should have run.
Do I now regret it, will I ne'er forget it. I regret, I can't forget.

My friend and I were talking about him just this morning, and she brought up the stereotype of his fearlessness. In response, I said "Chuck Norris checks his closet for Michael Phelps". By this, I was trying to say that there was in fact a fear that even Chuck Norris couldn't overcome. No matter how big and powerful a person is, there is always something bigger and more powerful.
